Tsunami Coastal Assessment Tool (TsuCAT)
TsuCAT is an offline tool that can assist a country in its tsunami hazard assessment, tsunami exercise and response planning, and warning decision-making. The tool provides access to a pre-computed database of Pacific, Caribbean, and Indian Ocean tsunami scenarios (M6.8 to M9.5) calculated using the NOAA MOST and RIFT numerical models. Simulations for historical tsunami sources from the NCEI and the USGS earthquake archives are also included. Developed by NOAA’s National Center for Tsunami Research (NCTR) and ITIC. Available to countries since March 2017.
